The St. Patrick’s Day Parade is Ireland’s most celebrated festival and one of the world’s biggest international events. In Japan, parades are held in locations as widespread as Tokyo, Yokohama, Kyoto, Ise, Nagoya and Okinawa every year, and this year Sendai will host its third parade.
Not only Irish people, but people of all nationalities, races and creeds are invited to join in the celebrations.
